Rolls-Royce Phantom II - 1929

1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II, 76 WJ with Hooper tourer body in Islamabad. As per the available history and information, this car was originally ordered by Sardar Prithipal Singh, Raja of Talicheri, in 1929, who bought it as a gift for one of his women in life. It was in Pink and Yellow colour, but that woman did not like it and hence the possession of the car was not taken by the Maharaja in 1930 when the car arrived at Bombay and hence it was sold to Prince Ahmed Yaar Khan, the Khan of Kalat in1931 and he brought the car to Balochistan and repainted it white. This car then was gifted to Nawabzada Aslam Khan of AMB State for his services as the security chief of the Khan of Kalat in 1946. Then, possession passed on to his heirs, Nawabzada Fida Mohd Khan of AMB State in 1954. Then, it was bought by Sahibzada Jamal Ahmed Khan of Kunjpura State in 1964, who brought this car to Lahore. The car was with him for the longest time since and it was kept in its white colour and was quite a famous car in the Model Town area and often seen on the roads as it was well maintained and taken care of. Then, it was acquired by our famed nuclear scientist, Late Dr. Qadeer A. Khan in 1999/2000 and now is in Islamabad with its current owner, who is the former son in law of our nuclear scientist and owner of the Froebels school.
